Disney Speedstorm’s Season 18 “Piston Cup”, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Cars, is almost here, and the team has been working on changes and improvements to the game based on community feedback.

RANKED

We are launching a new way to compete with other players - a dedicated ladder system with its own Points and Leagues. Compete in the Multiplayer races, progress through Leagues and get rewards!

GRAND PRIX

Grand Prix is a new type of a time-limited competition featuring a set of Solo Leaderboard events. The better lap times you get, the better your rewards are!

SEASON PASS CHANGES

We're updating the contents of the Golden and Diamond Passes, including increasing the amount of Upgrade Coins available, and the Pass featuring previously released Racers.

RACER BOOST

Racers Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Carl Fredrickes, Russell, and Yzma will now be available to select.

NEW SUPERCHARGE RACERS

Captain Gantu from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, Dr. Finkelstein from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Dash and Mrs. Incredible from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles, Ralph from Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph, and Daisy Duck from Disney’s Mickey & Friends will be available to select.

SEASON 18 TOURNAMENT AND VAULT PASS

During Season 18, Tournaments and Vault Passes will become available for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story.

Tournaments will be available for the Racers from "No Toy Gets Left Behind!" Season: Lotso, Forky and Emperor Zurg.

GENERAL FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

Fixed an issue where audio was missing from Racer Kermit the Frog's actions when viewed from other players' perspectives.
Fixed an issue where no sound effects were triggered when hitting a rival using Oswald's Unique Skill.
Fixed an issue where the sound of Racer Kermit the Frog’s Charged Unique Skill was not triggered when activating the 2nd Charged Unique Skill while the 1st was still active.
Fixed an issue where tire roll sounds were missing when the Player’s kart passed through gold textured surfaces on the side of the track in the Treasure Cave, affecting all track variations.
Fixed an issue where tire roll sound effects were not triggered when racing on red and white curbs on the Factory track.
Fixed an issue where Racer Kermit the Frog did not return to its original state after multiple players activated Kermit's Uncharged Unique Skills in succession.
Fixed various game crash occurrences and shop issues across all platforms.
Improved shop assets loading time.

RACER BALANCING

Here’s a breakdown of the list of Racer balancing improvements coming to the game at the start of Season 18.

RACER BALANCING - BUFFS

RACER MAD HATTER

Top Speed and Acceleration stats have been increased.

RACER MAUI

Top Speed, Acceleration, and Handling stats have been increased.

RACER MOANA

Uncharged Unique Skill:

Top Speed is increased after the last wave.

Charged Unique Skill:

Autopilot duration is increased.
On Autopilot expiry: Top Speed and Boost level are increased for a short time.
The uncharged unique now increases Top Speed after the last wave.
The autopilot from the charged unique now lasts longer and Top Speed is increased for a short time
afterwards.
