Overview of the Open Roster Week event in Disney Speedstorm

Hey Speedstars,

Open Roster Week is starting soon in Disney Speedstorm, and we’ve prepared a summary of the event for you to be ready!

What is Open Roster Week?

It is an event during which all Players with Player Rank 3+ (Special Events unlocked) can play with all the Racers for free. It is taking place from 18 till 24 September 2025.

At what Level are the Racers unlocked during Open Roster Week?

The Racers are unlocked at level 20 with MPR 0. They won't have Crew Members attached, and Players can't attach them until the Racer is unlocked regularly (with Shards). All the Racers that Players have unlocked before the Open Roster Week, can be used normally.

What game modes are available to play with these Racers?

Solo & Team Multiplayer, Private Track & Local Freeplay are all available. Players can also participate in Multiplayer Events, and gain Event Points. Missions can also be completed.

World Map Races, Solo & Leaderboard TLEs are not available for Open Roster Week Racers.

Achievements tied to specific Racers are not available to unlock with Open Roster Week Racers. However, non-specific Racers Achievements (e.g. Win 300 Races) can be unlocked with the Open Roster Week Racers.

Can these unlocked Racers be ranked up and leveled up during Open Roster Week?

Players can rank up Racers up till the Gold League (MPR 15). MPR Rewards can't be claimed until the Racer is unlocked regularly, however the progress for the Racer will be saved until then.

Players can't level up the Open Roster Week Racers with Upgrade Coins. However they will be automatically leveled up according to the Max Racer Cap for their current MPR.

Example: Player reaches Rank 6 (Silver League) with an Open Roster Week Racer, and this Racer is now available to play at Level 25.

What happens when unlocking a Racer regularly (acquiring Shards) if a Player already played with the Racer during the Open Roster Week?

All the limitations for the Racer disappear: Player can now level them up, attach Crew Members, etc.
The Racer will regain their MPR.
The Racer will be unlocked at Level 1.
Player receives the MPR rewards that they have reached by playing with the Open Roster Week Racer, but couldn't collect before.
Player receives the Player Rank points that they have achieved playing with the Racer before.

Are there any Rewards during Open Roster Week?

Yes, there will be a Special Reward for all the participants of the Open Roster Week. After the event starts, please visit your Inbox, check the Event Rules, accept them and complete at least a single race during the Open Roster Week to participate.

Moreover, 101 Players will get 10 random Racer Shards, and 1 lucky Player will get all the Racers unlocked permanently!
